Veterinary Technician/Veterinary Assistant:  

Harbor Road Veterinary Hospital is hiring! We currently have an opening for a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant. Part time or full time positions available. Responsibilities include assisting with exams, treatments, surgery, and dentistry, and interacting with clients. We are a busy, well-equipped, 3-doctor small animal practice, and have everything needed to provide excellent care for our patients, starting with great co-workers that will do all they can to help you succeed, in-house lab equipment, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound and Class IV therapeutic laser. Responsibilities include assisting with exams, treatments, surgeries and dentals.

Part Time Receptionist:  

Harbor Road Veterinary Hospital has a part time position open on our Reception Team. We are a 3-doctor small animal hospital in midcoast Maine. If you love people and animals, thrive in a busy setting, are motivated, responsible, organized, and find satisfaction in providing excellent customer service, we would love to talk to you!
 
Reception is such an important part of our team because the front desk team is the face and voice of the hospital. Duties include client communication via phone, text, email and in person, scheduling, checking clients in and out, processing payments, maintaining client and patient records, and more.  Some of the skills that will help you succeed are good communication skills and professional presentation, the ability to manage information and multi-task, attention to detail and stress tolerance, and knowledge of clinical and administrative protocols.
