COVID-19

As an essential business, and in an effort to remain open so that
we may take care of our patients, keep all of us and all of you safe,
and be compliant with CDC guidelines for slowing the spread of COVID-19,
we have implemented many new procedures at Harbor Road.

Beginning Wednesday, March 18, we instituted our biggest change,
carside only service.
In an effort to help flatten the curve and follow ever-changing
guidelines, we have continued to modify our procedures.

We are asking that you do some things to help us in our efforts.

Please do not bring your pet to Harbor Road if you, or anyone you live with,
or that your pet has been in contact with, has been in contact with a
known COVID-19 patient in the past 14 days, or if you have been instructed
to self-quarantine, or if you or someone in your household is currently
exhibiting symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (cough, fever, shortness
of breath, etc.), or if you or anyone in your household has traveled outside
of the area and should be in a 14-day self-quarantine.

When you bring your pet to Harbor Road:

---We are carside only, and we are all wearing full PPE at all times.
Please wear a mask
whenever
you interact with us or get out of your car.
---Upon your arrival, please try to park where you can be seen
from the front door, and call us at 207-354-0266
A technician will check in your pet via phone, and explain
the procedure
for getting your pet inside Harbor Road
(also explained here).
---When we are ready to bring your dog into the hospital, we ask
that you wait until you see our tech at the front door, then
leash your dog using the slip leash on our DoggiPot station
(next to our front sidewalk), remove your leash, and then get
back in your car.  Your tech will immediately bring your dog
inside the hospital to see the doctor.
---When we are ready to bring your cat into the hospital, we ask
that you wait until you see our tech at the front door, then
place your cat's carrier on the ground 6 feet from your car,
and
then get back in your car.  Your tech will immediately
bring your cat inside the hospital to see the doctor.

---Please know your cell phone number, as that is how we will be
communicating with you.

---Please be prepared to pay over the phone with a debit or credit card.
If you want an itemized receipt, please tell the person processing
your payment, and we will email one to you.

---If you need medication or food, please call ahead to order and prepay,
then call when you arrive, and we will bring your products out to you.

Please call 207-354-0266, and we will be glad assist you and your pets.

We appreciate your understanding, and thank you for helping us in our efforts
to maintain safe social distance, keep everybody healthy and safe,
and, hopefully, minimize the number of cases in our county and state.
